LinkedIn will ask to import contacts from your email account to help you find connections and build your Linkedin network. If you want to do this, type in your email address and click Continue. If you don’t want to allow LinkedIn access to your contacts, click Skip.
LinkedIn will send you an email with a verification code to confirm that they can reach you if something were to happen to your account, like needing to reset your password. Now let’s fill in your work experience. The process for this is similar to adding your education. First click Add experience, start by adding the name of the company, than the title of your position, then add the location of the business, the time you worked there and a description of the job. When you’re done filling in all the information, click Save. If you’ve had more than one job during your career, click Add position to add additional work experience.
Finally you’ll want to add some information, so people know how to contact you. On your main profile window click Contact info.
